Settlements Clerk - Regina, SK

AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking a Settlements Clerk to join our Regina Head Office team.

Duties:

  • Prepares weekly report of purchase contracts due for settlement
  • Ensures all authorizations are complete prior to settling purchase contracts
  • Reconciles grain receipts to purchase contracts and identifies errors or omissions
  • Reconciles regulatory and other deductions applicable to purchase contract
  • Calculates and processes payments based on producer’s instructions
  • Processes cheques, wires and EFT payments
  • Handles all customer and inter-office correspondence related to settlement of purchase contracts
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing grain receipts and payments
  • Prepares regulatory reports
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation reports required for the accounting month end close
  • Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, contracts and reports
  • Performs other duties as required to support the accounting department
  • Provide backup coverage for front desk reception

Facility Assistant - Regina, SK

As the Facility Assistant, you will be responsible for tasks associated with receiving, processing and shipping of grain and/or special crops, as well as general labor in and around the facility including light maintenance and repair and general housekeeping.

Cleanerman/Operations - Milestone, SK

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in processing plant/canary seed line

Maintenance Mechanic - Milestone, SK

AGT Foods is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic at our Milestone facility.

Duties include:

  • Preventative maintenance for the processing plants and equipment
  • Day to day repairs such as bearings, belts and gearboxes
  • Planning, coordinating and implementing plant repairs and projects
  • Maintain records for all maintenance and repairs on Plant equipment
  • Maintain and procure supplies and parts inventories
  • Ability to work safely operating hand tools, power tools and man lifts

Administration Officer - Grain Buying

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with developing and maintaining existing and new grower relations. Compile and maintain grower database. Contract follow-up with growers. General administration tasks related to Grain Buying and Grower payments. Additional tasks and general administration duties may also be assigned by the Business Manager at any given time.

Administration Officer - Logistics

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day administration of the logistics department. Following up transport carriers and shipping lines. Additional tasks and general administration duties may also be assigned by the Business Manager at any given time.

Process Operator - Two Positions - Rosetown, SK

AGT Soileos is seeking two Process Operators to join the team at our Rosetown, SK facility.

The Process Operators will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the new AGT Soileos production facility north of Rosetown.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Actively promote a safe and efficient work environment consistent with good manufacturing practices
  • Operate equipment and provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and adjustment of the AGT Soileos production process as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines
  • Provide support for the Quality Department for in-process testing, to ensure that products both adhere to specification and are of uniform quality
  • Obtain product samples and perform QC testing in accordance with established SOPs
  • Operate as a self-starter and demonstrate an ability to work within cross-functional work teams to problem solve, improve processes and procedures, and generally help AGT Lucent to continually improve
  • Identify opportunities for improvement; develop appropriate recommendations, implement action plans, and follow up to ensure effective results
  • Ensure detailed and documented shift logs are prepared for handover to the next shift
  • Execute sanitation and cleaning of process equipment and general cleaning of work areas to contribute to a safe working environment
  • Use of dry and wet chemicals

Labourers and MOW Equipment Operators - Railroad Tie Gang - Delisle, SK

Mobil Grain, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is now hiring Labourers and experienced MOW Equipment Operators for work on our seasonal railroad tie gang. The tie gang will work on our two shortline railroads, Big Sky Rail and Last Mountain Railway, during the months from spring thaw to fall freeze-up. There is a possibility of staying on full-time over next winter for the right candidate(s).

The position is based in Delisle, SK (20 mins west of Saskatoon), but the majority of the work will be elsewhere on the two rail lines. This position will include periods of up to weeks away from home, during which accommodations and meals will be covered by the company.

Duties may include:

  • Culvert repair work
  • Weed/grass trimming
  • Maintenance of railroad switches
  • Operation of tools and/or equipment
  • Upkeep of sidings

Grain Terminal Operator - Delisle, SK

AGT Foods is hiring Grain Terminal Operators on a permanent full-time basis at our Mega Cleaning Facility and Terminal in Delisle, SK.

Duties include:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Grain Terminal
  • Monitor and operate process equipment and computerized control systems involved with the shipping and receiving of grain products
  • Assist with rail coordination by safely operating a track mobile and/or railcar opener to unload bulk unit trains

Duties include:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the locomotive and belt pack

Oat Milling Operator

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and storage of products to meet production orders
  • Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment

  • Analyze product for characteristics such as moisture, weight, water hydration and particle size and apply all test information into the database
