Grain Cleaner Operator - Regina Agtech facility

SASKCAN PULSE TRADING, a division of Alliance Grain Traders Inc., is currently hiring experienced grain cleaner operators for our Saskcan Agtech factory located in Regina’s Ross Industrial Area. Reporting to the General Manager and to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will participate in receiving, cleaning, and storage of lentil and chickpea products. You must possess a working knowledge of the Canadian prairie grain industry. Training and experience in the operation of a grain handling facility is preferred. You must also posses excellent problem solving ability, be able to analyze and make proper adjustments with minimal supervision and be mechanically inclined. Specific duties will vary day-to-day, however will include the following:
- Conduct special crops processing procedures; ensure standards are met without undue loss of product.
- Manage production & process flow of product through receiving, storage, cleaning, and color sorting.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory, and that standards for shipment are maintained.
- Operate and maintain agricultural facility equipment and machinery.
The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, able to work independently, able to pay close attention to detail, and work well as part of a team. They must also be willing to work overtime when required. Shift work in the afternoon/evening is also required. SASKCAN PULSE TRADING, a division of Alliance Grain Traders Inc., is looking for an Accountant in our Regina head office. The successful candidate will have experience in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries, payroll and related reports. Working closely with the Grain and Financial Controllers, you will assist in financial and profitability reporting and analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in corporate financial reporting would be a definite asset. You will already have, or be working towards a professional accounting designation with a minimum of two years financial or grain accounting experience. Marketing Assistant - Regina

SASKCAN PULSE TRADING, a division of Alliance Grain Traders Inc., is looking for Marketing Assistants in our Regina head office. Successful individuals will look after all aspects of contract execution, including - booking inland and ocean freight, maintaining risk management programs and documentation, including letters of credit. You must be a highly-motivated, independent self-starter with superior organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products. You may have acquired these skills working in a position involving document preparation or review, spreadsheet preparation, financial reporting or bookkeeping/accounting. Direct grain and/or export documentation experience is preferred, however candidates with strong background in document tracking or logistics may also be considered. Candidates showing the right attitude and a willingness to learn will be considered for training in this position.
